I have a Sony DRU-700A burner, capable of burning almost anything.It very often happens to me that when burning with Nero 7 and this burner, at the end of the process, everything seems to go well, Nero tells me that it has finished successfully, but then it turns out that both on the burner itself and on other readers or burners that DVD appears blank, that is, that no list of files comes out. Generally I can read them correctly on the burner that made the disc, but not on the rest.
I even updated the burner's firmware but nothing has changed.Does anyone know what this could be due to?

Which DVDs do you use, burning speed, have you tried other programs, to burn at a lower speed, etc. etc.

Meanwhile, you can also perform a couple of checks such as mounting the burner on another PC, under another operating system, try a different burner on your own computer and record something, even if you have an extra hard drive, I would try to format it, replace the one you have and install the latest known drivers for that burner, and then try, to rule out software failure.

Check that the "close disc" option is enabled and/or the "multisession" mode is disabled. If they are not, you would be able to read them on that drive and not on others, just like what is happening to you.
