Adobe announces Flash 11.1 with support for Ice Cream Sandwich
-
Adobe recently announced that it was going to stop developing its Flash for mobile browsers, to focus its efforts on HTML5. This decision was seen at the time as a possible response to the pressure that Apple was exerting on Adobe.
The company then led by Steve Jobs, refused to include Flash in its iOS devices, opening what has been interpreted as a personal crusade against the Adobe giant.
But users of the latest version of Google's operating system will be able to enjoy what appears to be, for sure, one of the last releases of Flash technology. The company has announced that the application can be found on the Android Market.
It will be the owners of the Samsung Nexus Galaxy who can enjoy this new version, which apparently includes some aspects to be perfected. It is noted that the Flash application continues to be played during an incoming call and that the “enter” key of the virtual keyboard does not work in text input fields of several lines.
