Hello, I have a NAS with two drives in RAID1 that I use to store the data from the home computers. The 2 drives I have installed are Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB SATA2 32MB MAESTRO and it turns out that I now have a warning that says one of them is full… I'm going to try to run Seatools to see what it says, in case there is a possibility of saving it, but otherwise I have to get a new one.

The thing is that I have looked a little, but I can't find a drive exactly the same, the closest I have seen is a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB SATA3 MAESTRO would it be fully compatible to put it in raid1 with the one that is still healthy? the drives are normal desktop range, I have read that for raid it is recommended to use professional drives is that so, or can I use desktop drives without any problem?

Professional disks? does that exist? jejeje. Nothing buys any similar features that will serve you just as well, better if it's the same model so that the performance is optimal, but the one you put in is simply that the new ones have SATA3 but for the rest it's the same model.
