Overclocking problem
-
Hello.
I was overclocking with clockgen on my test PC and I pressed the wrong button:verguen: and the blue screen came out and it turned off:(
when I turn it back on it starts up perfectly, I can enter the bios perfectly and everything but as soon as it starts windows xp the windows xp start screen (the one with the moving bar) appears and the blue screen for a second and it turns off
Do you know what could be wrong?
normally when I use the clockgen as soon as I turn off and turn on the PC it goes back to no OC
The PC was with the same components as in the signature except the power supply which had a spire 420w one -
Enter failsafe mode and disable clockgen.

I have the same problem in fail-safe mode -
put in the Windows installation disk and let it load as if you were installing it
and when it has loaded everything, instead of installing, click exit and this will restore the Windows start upregards

ferelxyx thanks now I can't test it I'll test it on Friday (if I have time) and I'll tell you
-
I tried what ferelxyx said but it didn't work so I formatted the hard drive and it got fixed
-
to do this again put in the Ubuntu disk, boot from CD and enter your hard drive, delete the program in question and problem solved. sorry for responding so late.
