[Thermal Paste] Maingear Epic T1000
-
At the AMD FX GamExperience held in Dallas, the well-known PC assembler Maingear, has presented a thermal paste with surprising results, improving between 3 and 10ºC over the best compounds on the market (including AS5
).Under the name of Maingear Epic T1000, and for $20 USA, we will get the product previously known as Indigo Xtreme - The thermal paste of the future - HardLimit.
Of course, we will still need special gloves to apply it (included in the kit), and subject our processor to a tough stress test of 80ºC :mudo:, necessary for the product to be applied evenly.

It is a truly convincing investment,
what quantities is it sold in?vale ya han cargado las imágenes de la review
One detail, wouldn't it be dangerous to take it up to 80º depending on the processor?
Best regards

They tell me what moves, 80º for it to settle? xDD
Well I think I got a good Sandy and it didn't go over 60º with a cheap cooler. Interesting for computers with high TjMax but I'll stick with my MX-4 for settling and price issues :chuckles:
Editing: After having plugged 4.5 into the 2500K I'm going to have to lower the OC in the summer (right now I'm at 60º at full load) but I think I'll leave 60 bucks for a good cooler rather than buying that paste. It shouldn't be a problem to put the micro at 80º for a moment but I'll pass

The best thing is to solder them with silver, thermal paste… pssa amateurs: little laughs:

Steal the gold stamps from a gypsy, don't be cheap :chuckles:
-
do you know if they are also going to sell it for graphics?
-
For now they always talk about installation kits for CPUs, but I doubt they will do it, unless some "enthusiast" makes it fashionable on their own :risitas:
Maybe if some assembler without "famous" heatsinks puts it in as a standard feature
