CPU cooler doubt

My PC is the one in my signature. Being new to overclocking and having special heatsinks to better control temperatures, one of the times I went to clean a little dust from my PC, I was able to check that the processor's heatsink is not totally fixed, it moves "a little bit". And of course, thinking that the thermal paste comes off and falls on the graphics card gives me a scare.
The PC came to me about a month and a half ago from Coolmod. Is it normal that it is not "totally" fixed and immobile?
How often should the thermal paste be changed?
I am somewhat worried about this issue, since if it falls one day and I don't notice, the weight of it can damage the graphics card.Best regards

Man, I don't know how much you would say the heatsink moves, I haven't had the pleasure of trying a cold thermaltake but from what I know the heatsinks I've seen and tried have always been tight and immobile, at least without manually forcing them. Check the anchorages, and above all and before anything else the temperatures, which should be necessarily below 37-40º without load.
The thermal paste should be changed every year, but it's not essential, you can stay with the same thermal paste for two or three years, but it always degrades and some degrees of temperature are gained, but nothing relevant.
If the temperatures are too high I've already told you, check the anchorages of that thermaltake and make sure it's well aligned with the surface of the processor.Regards

The issue is not whether it moves, the issue is where it moves from…let me explain.
It is normal for a heatsink of a kilo and almost 17 cm to have some movement, physics and gravity dictate.
The slight movement is due to the motherboard yielding slightly under such weight and height, although it does not represent any danger if it is not hit or shaken with some force.
Another issue is if that movement is on top of the processor (it moves when pushing the base of the heatsink), then you have to check that the fixing screws are well tightened and the rubber washers of the same are well placed.
But as I say if the whole assembly moves very slightly and from the board, it is almost logical due to its measurements and weight.Best regards
