Hello guys, the truth is that the problem is with a laptop, but since it's a screen problem... I'm posting it here.
It's an Asus K70I0 laptop that's screen keeps flickering every now and then. Here's what's happening: no matter what you're doing, gaming, with programs, etc., there comes a moment when the screen starts to flicker with white screens and after a while it completely goes off and stays black. Sometimes, if you tap the casing it recovers and lasts for a while. Also, closing the lid and opening it again it recovers, but in the end it goes completely and you have to go back to tapping or closing it (putting it to sleep) and restarting. This is getting worse and worse, so before I open it up completely... what do you suggest it could be? Graphics? The screen contacts on the motherboard? A while ago I opened it up to check the latter but it was so complicated that I was scared to go further,:wall: but since this is getting worse and worse, I have no choice but to open it up completely. That said, any suggestions??
Regards.;D

Nobody thinks that it could be: crying:

From what you say, I suspect it's a fault with the inverter :sisi:
Cheers!
P.S.: an inverter is a transformer that powers the screen, and is usually placed between the two hinges of a laptop, but you'll have to go to a service center to have it replaced, if you don't want to get a Master's degree in Laptop DIY ;D

But the inverter is what provides "juice" for the backlight. If you focus too much and even without light you can see that there is some very dark image, then it is definitely the inverter, if not it could be many things, from the screen itself, to the flat cable that connects it to the main board or even the connector of the board itself. -
Wow! how scary is that "master in laptop DIY". I'll try to see what yorus says and when it's dark to see if anything shows up, if not... I'll try with the flat cable and if not... the satellite. We all have to eat hehe. If I can fix it I'll tell you what the problem was.
Regards and thank you very much...
