Good afternoon to all, while I wait for the Ivy to come out and what to do if I catch one or I go for one from the 2011 platform my hard drive is about to die and I had thought about buying an SSD instead and of course I am hesitating whether the one recommended in the forum the Crucial M4 of 128 or to get the Plextor of 128
Of course I also have a doubt I do not know if my current Gigabyte G31MF-S2 motherboard supports SSD or if the boards have to have some option for this or is it just like another hard drive...
Thank you very much for reading this message and goodbye...

You can go with the SSD, just enable AHCI in BIOS and install Windows 7. I would go for an Ivy 1155 i3/5/7 respectively if it's for office work, gaming or editing/lots of decompression, and wait to order the SSD with the new platform (let's hope it can handle that drive). Plextor and M4 both seem like good options to me.
