Problem updating Flash
-
Hello
I have a problem with MacromediaFlash updates
It only happens on two old PCs I have with Windows 2000 (which keeps updating)When trying to install the update, it says:
"The entry point SetDiDirectoryW was not found in the dynamic link library
KERNEL32.dllIf I download the update manually from the Adobe website, the same thing happens.
Does anyone else have this problem?
I suspect it has something to do with Windows 2000 SP4, because my other computers with
XP SP3 / Vista / W7 don't have it,…yetDo you know of any way to fix it?

According to the Adobe website, Flash Player is available for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 2003, and 2008. It does not explicitly state availability for Windows 2000.
It may be time to upgrade the OS. Windows XP, configured properly, has a very low resource consumption (comparable to Windows 2000).

I think support for the latest versions of Flashplayer for 2000 is not going to happen.
Maybe this will help you …
