Interesting comparison of RAM for Ivy Bridge
-
hello!
after a bit of googling I found some tests for the ivy bridge about the ram issue. it says that the ones that perform best are the 1600 speed ones since the next ones the improvement is insignificant… I leave you the link and ask you what you think

We talked very recently about that topic (with the Sandy ones) in another branch, with a "slightly" more complete comparison, take a look

PD. If you compare it with a test in Ivy like this: Noticias 3D - Article: G.Skill Trident X 8 GB DDR3 2.400 MHz with Ivy Bridge vs http://www.anandtech.com/show/4503/sandy-bridge-memory-scaling-choosing-the-best-ddr3/3 (the one I mentioned in the other branch: Recommendation of a mid-range computer - HardLimit). The improvement is between 15 - 30% in synthetic tests, but in real tests, the difference is very poor.
