Well, yesterday I assembled (on the floor, I haven't received the case yet :p) the PC that you all helped me build, I'll post the details in the appropriate branch, but I have a question:
I put the Crucial M4 that you recommended and it's super fast, the system boots in about 10 seconds, even faster than my MacBook Pro. For now I've only installed the drivers, Win 7, Avast and Diablo 3 (I haven't received the Black caviar yet and I was craving to play) but I'd like to know how you manage your SSDs.
What do you install on them? Do I install Office on the SSD or on the caviar? And the games? The space is limited, only 128GB and I also don't want to use it as a disk where I install and uninstall things constantly, I'd like to touch it as little as possible to not decrease its performance.
How do you have it?
Thanks!

Tooh p'adentro :troll:
I left out Skyrim because I didn't have much left to play, but you buy an SSD to use it, don't worry you have an SSD for a while.
Editing: Damn Pedrín, I started writing without reading. I thought you were worried about degradation :ugly:
I think the problem is with the games, install the ones you use the most and remove hibernation as well as restore, having a snapshot with the main programs and the theme configured is already good.
Disable C1E if you haven't already, it limits random writing.
PD: You're going to freak out with how fast the antivirus scans

I have the obvious OS on mine, various programs like office antivirus, video editing programs, we have all the programs except steam, and games I have diablo, battlefield and little more because it doesn't fit (for now XD)

Think about what you use the most and is likely to throw disk frequently. I install games on conventional RAID (slightly slower game startup or level loading, but it's usually not important during the game). Certainly the OS, the directories of system and user temporary files, the paging file (all this is by default in the installation like this), the antivirus, some resident programs …
I use Office a lot and as it takes up little space (compared to, for example, a game) I also have it on the SSD... and it's nice to see it start up.

Many thanks to everyone for the comments. Steam was already planning to install it on the caviar, I will also install the rest of the games there except for Diablo, which I already have on the SSD. I am very happy with the change, the speed is brutal and the boot leaves me amazed. I only hope it lasts at least 1 or 2 years, as it seems that SSDs are not the most durable drives in the world XD
Disable C1E if you haven't already, it limits random writing.
PD: You'll be amazed at how fast the antivirus scans
Obiove there I get lost, what is C1E, how do I limit random writing? will that improve the HD performance?
Thanks!

I meant that having it enabled affects performance.
C1E will be in the OC section, Green Power, I suppose in the MIT section for Gigabyte…
