Hello gentlemen,
I come to your aid after exhausting all possibilities.
I tell you, for some time now, my battery stops charging around 68% / 70%, and the tray icon indicates "connected and not charging". Sometimes, when you unplug the cable and plug it back in, it charges a little more, 2 or 3% and then stops again. The maximum I have reached with this is around 90%, but as you will see, it's not the plan.
If the laptop is turned off, it stays the same at 70% more or less.
I have read several colleagues with this problem and it turned out to be the charger. Well, now I have two chargers and the problem persists.
Also, removing and putting the battery a thousand times, it remains the same.
I also did a couple of fixes that Microsoft offered, with no changes. And I also uninstalled some power managers that come with win.
By the way, I am under Win7 but with Vista it already did it. The battery has hardly been used, that is, I have always used it with a cable except on rare occasions, I have taken care of the battery under conditions (always keep it plugged in and discharge it every two or three weeks). It has about two years...
¿¿Any ideas??
Thank you all so much!

I don't know if it applies to all brands, but my Samsung netbook has a battery protection option in the BIOS that limits the battery to 80% of its charge. Apparently to extend its useful life.
Check to see if you have it activated and that's the problem that's bothering you. ;D
Best regards. -
Thanks Nemo
I've checked it and there's nothing like it. Anyway it wasn't overnight, it started to do it gradually until it no longer loads
