Voy a plantearos un problema que tengo en un cliente, concretamente con su conexión Wifi.

Tienen una conexión ADSL de Telefónica normalucha, 10Mbps, y un router Zyxel de los típicos que ponen. Se conectan habitualmente por wifi varios portátiles (al menos 4), unos cuantos móviles (6 o mas) y algunos iPad (4 mas o menos). También hay instalado un repetidor Netgear que no se si se vuelve loco por culpa del router o tampoco es muy allá.

El caso es que en cuanto se conectan varios equipos los demás empiezan a tener problemas para conectarse. La red cableada no falla en ningún momento y el servidor DHCP al principio era el del propio router pero lo he cambiado al servidor con Windows 2003 Server y sigo teniendo los mismos problemas,

Por lo tanto busco un punto de acceso bueno para deshabilitar el wifi del router y que lo gestione dicho punto de acceso. De paso aprovecharé para poder colocarlo en una zona donde me permita tener cobertura wifi en las zonas necesarias y poder prescindir del repetidor. Por esto necesito que sea potente, ya que tiene que dar cobertura a la planta inferior y a la oficina de al lado (esto caso no debería ser problema porque la señal del repetidor llega y no está en esa oficina.

¿Que me podéis recomendar?. Es mas importante el que sea bueno que no económico, ya que las soluciones económicas han fallado.
