Help oc Gigabyte 7850
-
Hello, first of all I introduce myself, I have been disconnected from the pc world for several years (I used a mac), but the bug of the pc and all the tinkering and overclocking has bitten me again. I first bought a q6600 that lasted me very little and currently I have an i5 3570k with a gigabyte 7850 oc edition graphics card.
The thing is that I have read quite a few people with the core at 1200 or more, and I can't get it to 1200, I have touched the voltage and put it to 1,2V being the limit that TRIXX allows me 1.225V, simply my graphics card does not accept more oc or what? It has Asic quality 86% I think and for a matter of temperatures it is not, since it works below 50ºC.
The failures that I get when I raise it to 1200 of the core are either that directly a blue screen appears after a while, artifacts or a driver error.
What I ask is if I can do something, change the bios or something.Best regards!

hello and welcome
well your question doesn't have a concrete answer
processors never come out the same, whether they are graphics or any other, and memories vary even in the same manufacturer
so if you get a good GPU it will go up a lot and if not then it will go up less, the same thing happens with CPUs
and memories are not always the same, so you test the limit and put it to what works well for you
and it's useless to put bios or anything because the limit is of the GPU.
the only thing that gives more options for O.C. is a good dissipation but you already have it so you have nothing to doregards
