Various doubts about NVIDIA

I am buying a tower by parts and I have two doubts:

1- A GTX 680 or two GTX 660 Ti in SLI

basically it is for playing with everything at maximum and in 720p-1080p

1- When buying the card I made a mistake, it turns out that it supports SLI, but I looked at it wrong and instead of 3-way SLI it was 3-way Crossfire, could I put 3 NVidia cards in it? Physically it has 3 PCI-e 3.0 x16 (Maximimus V Formula)

Without a doubt, a pair of 660 Ti's will give you more performance than a single 680.

It would be different if you put a 680 in and then, when you were short of performance, added another in SLI, but the question at issue is about a pair of 660 Ti's in SLI.

Don't worry about the motherboard, it supports both CF and SLI.
