E8400 vs Q6600 vs Q8300

Hello everyone, I have rescued an old motherboard, specifically it is an MSI G31M2 Version 1.
Which supports all Core 2 duo and all Core 2 Quad. I must mention that this motherboard is not very designed for Overclock.

My question is, what is the best processor for gaming that you would put on it?
I doubt whether to choose more cores and less frequency or more frequency and fewer cores.

I put those 3 processors that are the ones I can afford to buy.
I need a little help, browsing the internet is very balanced the balance between the E8400 and these two Quad.

e8400 dual core with virtualization
Q6600 quad core with virtualization
Q8300 quad core without virtualization.

If it's for a normal PC that you're not going to virtualize by hardware, get the most powerful quad, which I think will be the e8300 as it's a newer batch than the q6600. Without OC or anything like that

Si es para un pc normal que no vas a virtualizar por hardware pilla el quad mas potente, que creo serra el e8300 al ser una hornada mas nueva que el q6600. Sin oc ni nada pro el estilo

Os digo los precios de los procesadores que me piden. Me ofrecieron tambien el E8500 para tener mas dudas aún.

E8400 dual core –--> 36 €
E8500 dual core ----> 39 €
Q6600 quad core ----> 47 €
Q8300 quad core ----> 56 €

La verdad que no sé por cual decidirme, es dificil verdad?

I am answering myself.
I saw this comparison of CPU performance with the game Crysis 2 and the Q6600 gives the E8500 a good beating.

I will get the Q6600 which costs me 47 € which is a very good price.
It will be accompanied by an Ati 5750 1 Gb.
