Problem installing my video card
-
I bought a DDR3 video card a few months ago so I could watch HD content. Among other things :alone:, but the truth is that I have not been able to install it and I don't know where the problem is.
when I connect the video card to the motherboard, it detects it and turns on the monitor but it stays on the home screen where the Intel logo appears but it doesn't go any further, it doesn't start the OS. it freezes,
I have already used these methods and it still doesn't work…. I gave video priority to the pci-express slot in the Bios configuration, I also uninstalled the integrated video drivers on my pc, and still nothing!!
I NEED HELP PLEASE I HAVE BEEN posting on forums for months and no one can help me :verguen:
if anyone knows how to fix it or where the problem is, please help me, I beg of you!!!
Thanks in advance.

Hello how are you, welcome to the forum. Regarding the problem you have, how many PCI slots does your motherboard have? Have you tried it in another slot and is it still happening? Have you tried it in another computer, does it do the same thing? It could also be the case that your graphics card is PCI Express 3.0 and yet your motherboard only supports up to 2.0, I don't know, it's just an idea I had. Regards

Go ahead and put in the model of your motherboard, graphics card, and power supply. -
Well, it only has one Pci-e 2.0 slot, looking at the box of the card it says it's pci-e 2.1 but I don't think it's that, to be honest, or is it? I don't have another PC to test it on, to be honest, I'm tired of everything, I'm currently saving money because I want to upgrade my CPU completely, I hope it's the motherboard that maybe isn't compatible, but honestly, I would like to enjoy HD content because it will take a few more months to build the other PC
MotherBoard Intel - DQ965GF
Video Card - AMD Radeon One HD 5450 1gb -

The power source is a 600W Pixxo Jaguar
That graphics card should work on that motherboard, try removing the graphics card and cleaning the connector with a rubber, before that go into the motherboard's bios and set everything to default or remove the battery for a few seconds and connect the graphics card if it's still the same it's possible that the graphics card has some defect, you would have to use the warranty if it's still valid.
In that computer you don't want to change the CPU or anything, if you don't want it for gaming the best thing is to hold on to it and later upgrade to a newer one, it's always better to buy by components and build your own.
You should also put the latest driver for the Chipset and check if there is any bios, although I see that in Intel it's more complicated to see which bios file to choose, on this page you can put the operating system and it tells you the drivers for your motherboard.
