Burnt switch
-
I have a rack switch from the brand PLANET, specifically the model FNSW-2401, for unknown reasons, it had a "bang", smoke, etc... I opened it and saw that the power supply had gone to "gargle" (burned), tracks and capacitors burned.
To test if the rack worked, I put an ATX power supply on it and tested with low voltage (5V), and it worked correctly but after a while all the lights on the switch stayed on, I don't know if it was a mistake of disconnecting and connecting the ATX power supply so many times and I connected it to 12 V instead of 5V.<:(
Have I finally ruined the switch? :crying:
Do you know what output voltage the burned power supply has?
Regards!
