I have an Xelos SL 37 LCD connected via DVI to a 9800gtx+ and the issue is that the native resolution is 1280x720 but with the Nvidia control I can add other custom resolution modes like...
-1920x1080
-2550x1400
-2560x1600
-3440x1440 (25Hz)It opens my desktop and the games support 2550x1440
Is it dangerous for the Loewe to use these modes?
I notice quite a change from 1280x720 to 1920x1080, but I hardly notice it at 2560x1400 and also in this mode I have to put all the options to the minimum to be able to play Fallout3 smoothly for example.
I am currently playing Tomb Raider 2013, and when I change to higher resolution modes I get a message saying that the 3D application does not allow that mode, and I have to start the game in 'native' and then go into options and change it when I am inside the game.
Even so, I get the impression that even if I choose a higher mode and accept, the image does not go beyond 1280x720.
in other games I do notice and I can even put 2560x1440.By the way, in the Nvidia control you put 3D for the application to manage it or do you put it in manual?
It is a big doubt I have, now it is in application managed... I have messed around but I do not notice much difference.
Best regards and thanks.
