Uplink in RACK
-
Hi, at work we have a closet with 4 x HP Procurve 1018 switches and between them they are not connected via UPLINK.
I saw that they have the 24 ports and then 2 separate ones that I assume are for the uplink, my question is how do I connect them to each other? do I put an RJ45 there? They are like these

PD: I don't deal with the company's systems... but since the one who did it is not here... I have to "look into it".Thanks.

I have never handled those beastly things, but I suppose they will be like a normal router, but on steroids, yes, I suppose with RJ-45 since I don't know of any other type of cable with that connector.

it doesn't look like it's a socket for rj45, rather to put a gbic for fiber
download the manual for the exact model and it will clarify it for you, the photo doesn't help much
PD: if they are as they are it must be for something
