Is this PC worth this price
-
I would like to buy this PC but it seems to me an excessive price for it.
Could you give me your opinion. Thank you.
Apocalypse
By the way, since you are helping me, could I put my Sound Blaster XFI Elite Pro sound card in this PC? -
At PCcomponentes in general there are good prices and the price of a built computer will be approximately the price of the components plus the price of assembling it. That is, if you choose to assemble the PC piece by piece with the same components, it is normal that it will cost you approximately what they ask for this one.
The question is, what are you going to use the PC for? because that PC has a graphics card that is already worth half of what the PC is worth... that graphics card is used more if you give your computer a professional use, and depending on the programs you use will make use of the power of said graphics card or a cheaper one will yield similar results.
Therefore, I think that the best thing is that you tell us what you will use the PC for, and we can guide you, because that PC if you are only going to play with it, is a waste, unless you have the money to spare and you want to treat yourself, but I would buy a similar computer but with a cheaper graphics card.

Apart from the fact that if you want to build a quad, and don't want to install more than 2 cards, you can save a good amount of euros with an LGA 1150 platform. If you go for LGA 2011, it's for installing 3 or 4 graphics cards and/or a 6-core processor.

I agree with amd125, it's a pretty reasonable price for a pre-assembled setup of that caliber, emphasizing that they deliver it already tested.
Excessive is to buy it to play parchis online. :ugly:Edit: Regarding the sound card, that motherboard has a single PCI slot just for it. ;D

I forgot to add that you could use the sound card with the configuration that comes with that motherboard.
When buying a motherboard, look for one with a PCI slot. Some modern boards no longer have PCI.
And effectively, to play with an I5 in general, it's fine today, or an AMD FX-8320 which is not very expensive and performs quite well. You can get both configurations with very decent motherboards for under 90-100€. You don't need to build a 1,800€ gaming setup. And if you really are going to use multiple monitors, and very high resolutions, a setup of 2 graphics cards or more :troll: will do the rest.
The Titan you mentioned is just for gaming, it's a waste.
To sum up: Tell us the use of the PC and the budget and we'll advise you something powerful, without going over budget.
PD: if your current PC is the one in the picture, anything you build will be like night and day. ;D

Hello everyone, thank you very much for your opinions.
The fact is that I plan to use the computer for gaming and video editing. But you've got me, the reason for buying that PC, mainly, is for gaming. I haven't played for years but now I've seen Battlefield 4 and I liked it. I've played before and was always very limited by the PC and I've never played at ultra and fully enjoyed the game. Also, I thought that I would also like it to last me a few years and not have to keep changing components all the time for the PC to perform well because I end up spending more on changing this and that.
Regarding XFI Elite Pro, do you think it's better than the one that comes on the motherboard? Or is it not worth changing it from an old PC?
How do I know if the PC is 64 or 32 bit?
And indeed, amd125, the PC I have is the one from the company. I bought it and expanded it over time. By the way, also with your help and opinions that you gave me at that moment, many years ago, it has been and continues to be useful to me until today. But for gaming, of course, it's no longer suitable. I really appreciate that whenever I've left a post you've helped me and dedicated your time to me. And above all what I've learned about PCs from what you told me. -
For general gaming an i5 but, for BF4 and video an 8320 is very good for its price. For 1,000€ you can get a good deal:
If it's for casual gaming I would get a 760 or a 280X and if you want it for general gaming, as I said, an i5 4570 or higher.
On that motherboard you have 2 PCIs, one for the pinnacle and another for the sound card. The integrated ones are junk by the way.
If you're doing well with your equipment for video you're going to freak out with any PC now, the difference in time rendering is not insignificant.

The Obione configuration seems generally quite correct to me. You could scratch a little by putting in a slightly cheaper motherboard, a cheaper cooler as well, but in general you would lower between 40-50€ from one side to the other
Then if that budget is high, don't buy the SSD, and you can mount a cheaper graphics card, but from about 700-800€ you can mount a pretty good gaming PC.
If you don't want to upgrade in a good time an AMD FX is a good solution without going out of price. Otherwise, to notice a change you have to go for an I7 and already between micro and motherboard the budget would go up by about 150€ or more.
To play today in general an Intel I5 is better but, some games like BF4 use AMD micros like FX very well and perform very well.
The FX-8320 goes to 3500 but they all easily go up to 4000-4200 with good ventilation. I have an FX-8350 because my previous FX-8320 blew up and they changed it for this one, otherwise the FX-8320 is more than enough, don't buy the FX-8350.
Next year there will be new micros, DDR4 memories... but if you wait until the end you won't enjoy the computer and there won't be a very big change in power in principle so that PC should last you a few years. If in the future it falls short, you put 8 more Gigas of Ram.
