Will this configuration be compatible?
-
Hello, I am planning to upgrade my brother-in-law's PC and the idea is to assemble it on an ASUS P5KPL-CM motherboard with a CORE 2 QUAD Q8200 2333 MHZ processor and two DDR2 RAM slots (2x2) GB at 800Mhz, the following new components to be able to play some games on a 17-inch monitor:
- Gigabyte GeForce GTX650 OC 4GB GDDR5
- Tacens Mars Gaming MC2 V2 - Case/Tower
- Tacens Mars Gaming 600W - Power Supply
Could you inform me if the configuration may be incompatible in terms of processor RAM and graphics and if the power supply will give me problems in terms of consumption and fit in this model of case.
I should mention that it has two hard drives of the old type and a burner, it is not demanding in terms of graphic details.
Thank you for the comments and sorry if I have expanded a bit ;D -
In a couple of weeks, nVIDIA will present its new GTX (probably GTX870 and GTX880), so waiting a little will allow you to have better prices on the graphics card.
Salu2!

Fassou is right, but if you don't want to get a high-end card because of the price or because you don't need it, go for the 700 series, or wait a few months for them to release the 850, 840, and others
