Equipment configuration to start professionally
-
Hello,
I am a new user, but for many years I have had you as a reference when I have to build PCs and try to learn from your advice.Right now I have a family member who has commissioned me to build a PC to start professionally in topics like AutoCad, 3D Max, etc. He certainly has a lot of skill.
But before I buy the equipment, I had a lot of doubts, and spending 1100€ that are not mine without much wisdom gives me respect. So I ask for your advice.
I'll give you a template.Do you need assembly?
No
What is your budget?
1100€
What will you use the computer for?
AutoCad, 3DMax and programs for modeling rooms, houses, etc.
Will you perform Overclock?
Not for the moment.
Do you need any peripherals?
No
Do you need any accessories for the tower?
None for now. This is my base configuration.
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Ranger – 188€
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0Ghz – 344€
Ram Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 16GB 2x8GB CL9 – 118 €
Graphics: AMD Firepro W4100 2Gb GDDR5 PCie – 189 €Hard Drive 1: Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB – 60€
Hard Drive 2: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA3 - 50€CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 103 – 23€
Power Supply: Nox Urano VX 750W PFC – 59€
Case: NOX Coolbay SX USB 3.0 – 40€Total: 1071€
My biggest concerns are with the motherboard and graphics.
I have a lot of doubts about the motherboard because for professional work I don't know if there are better or specific ones for this type of work. Since the Asus Maximus VII Ranger has specifications more for gamers. As for the graphics, I know that for this type of profession they are the Firepro or Quadro types. The next AMD Firepro W5000 is over my budget and all the Nvidia Quadro I've seen also.
I don't know if there is any other that doesn't skyrocket the price.I am totally open to any suggestion of change about any component.
Best regards.
