      Hello everyone,

      I'm going to change the heatsink of the micro because the motor is failing and, since I have to disassemble the case, I'd like to change the case (XION 2) for another ?

      The hardware is as follows:
      Motherboard --> P5WDH Wifi
      CPU --> E6600
      Heatsink --> Zalman 9500LED (I want to change it because the motor is starting to fail)
      RAM --> 2x2Gb GEIL DDR2 800
      Graphics card --> Saphire 800GTO (I might change it but it still has some life left)
      HDD --> 1x500Gb SATAII Seagate 7200.12 + 1x320Gb SATAII WD
      Power supply --> Xilence 480W

      What I'm looking for in the case is:

      1. It can't be larger than: 52 x 30 x 53 cm (Height x Width x Depth) so that it fits under my desk without any problems
      2. I prefer the buttons (power, reset, etc.) to be as high as possible, because the case will be on the floor
      3. I've realized that I want it to have a side window to see the contents
      4. It must have some system for organizing cables
      5. The HDDs must be perpendicular to the case so that they are easy to extract
      6. The CD/DVD drives must have an easy anchoring system
      7. It must be quiet but with good ventilation system
      8. It must be wide enough so that there are no problems with a good heatsink, which is the initial goal

      I don't mind spending up to 200€ on the case as long as the quality/price ratio is worth it

      The options I like are:

      1. Corsair Obsidian Series® 450D or Corsair Obsidian Series® 550D
      2. Graphite Series™ 230T, I like it, although the buttons are a bit small
      3. Graphite Series™ 760T, it would be wonderful if it were a little smaller ?
      4. Corsair Vengeance C70, I like the buttons but the case itself seems very simple to me and the latches give me the feeling that over time they will end up giving way (I think screws are better)
      5. Versa H34
      6. Urban S31 Snow
      7. A31 Snow Edition
      8. Chaser A41 Snow edition, it's the widest so it can accommodate large heatsinks and the internal fan I think will collect dust
      9. Cooler Master CM 690 III
      10. Fractal R5 Titanium Window the only thing that doesn't convince me is that the CD/DVD drives don't have an easy anchoring system like the rest, but they go with screws, it would be perfect if that little problem could be solved

      So I ask you the following:

      1. I've seen that there are cases that have the option to put SSDs on the side, is it practical?
      2. Do you recommend any of the cases I've listed or any other and why?

      Best regards,

        The theme of the case is very much a matter of personal taste, so it's difficult to give an opinion beyond recommending qualities, because what one person finds impossible to look at, another person sees as a masterpiece.

        That being said, with the specifications of your computer, I wouldn't spend anything on it, and I would try to sell it to get a more modern computer, which, no matter how little you spend, will have a much higher performance than yours.

        Towers of just over 300€, already improve it, and if the monitor keeps up, maybe you're interested in a laptop, and forget about space problems.

        Regards!

          I don't rule out changing my PC, but I prefer to do it when I have no other option.

          I don't use the PC for games, but for calculation programs, programming, virtualization, etc. and for the moment the PC responds correctly to me, although I am convinced that if I update it I will get the results sooner, hehe

          I don't see the issue of getting a laptop because I also use it for downloading movies ? and with the 2 from work I have more than enough ?

            I personally recommend the Cooler Master CM 690 III,
            but as my colleague said, it's a matter of personal taste,

            regards
