Good morning to everyone, I bring you some tests that I performed on the new Zotac tank, the Zotac GeForce GTX 980Ti AMP! Extreme.
This card has very important differences over the NVIDIA reference model, and all of them are linked to performance. Starting with the operating frequency of the GPU and the MEMORIES,
the GPU of this 980Ti AMP! Extreme from Zotac works above 1.4GHz in boost mode, out of the box, without overclocking the graphics, against the 1.075GHz theoretical of the NVIDIA reference model. As for the memories, in the case of the Zotac boosted version, these work at 7220MHz against 7000MHz of the reference model.
The other two changes are, on one hand the cooling system of the card and on the other the PCB, we will see this in more detail in a review that I will publish soon.

In these tests what I did was to push the processor and the HyperX memories to the limit, without using extreme cooling. In the case of the processor I managed 4800MHz (starting from a nominal frequency of 3300MHz), and in the case of the HyperX Predator DDR4 memories, the overclock potential was IMPRESSIVE. I say this because the set of HyperX Predator DDR4 memories used ran all the tests in a totally stable way at 3200MHz CL11, without using extreme cooling, without even using heatsinks!!!!!!!!!!!, I also have to mention that part of the achievement is the responsibility of the motherboard, the Asus Rampage V Extreme.
On the Zotac GTX 980Ti AMP! Extreme card LN2 (liquid nitrogen) was used to cool the GPU.

The equipment used was as follows:

Zotac GeForce GTX 980Ti AMP! Extreme @ LN2
      Intel Core i7 5960X @ liquid cooling
      HyperX DDR4 Predator 4x4GB @ 3200MHz CL11
      HyperX SSD Fury 240GB
      SeaSonic 1200W Platinum
      Asus Rampage V Extreme

      Catzilla 1440P = 16504 (2nd place in GTX 980Ti category)

      nacho_arroyo`s Catzilla - 1440p score: 16504 marks with a GeForce GTX 980 Ti

      Catzilla 720P = 50496 (4th place in GTX 980Ti category)

      nacho_arroyo`s Catzilla - 720p score: 50496 marks with a GeForce GTX 980 Ti

      3Dmark 2011 = 28873 (7th place in GTX 980Ti category)

      nacho_arroyo`s 3DMark11 - Performance score: 28873 marks with a GeForce GTX 980 Ti

At the end of the tests I will highlight two things, the first is that the Zotac GTX 980Ti AMP! Extreme card is currently limited, since all tests were run without modifying any voltage of the graphics (I am waiting for Zotac to provide me with what is necessary to do so), so the OC potential of this card is HUGE, and the last but not least, as always, to emphasize the indispensability of using quality power supplies, that is why I recommend SeaSonic.
