They promise 4 TB SSDs for $500
-
That said, Mushkin promises to offer a 4TB SSD for about $500 starting in March of this year.
Apparently, the idea is to cram 2 2TB SSDs onto the same PCB, at the cost of a maximum random access rate of 10K IOPS.
…and yet it would still be another kick to our beloved (and increasingly unwanted :troll:) mechanical drives.Well, we'll see what happens when the time comes.

And more that they are going to go down
-
Look at how much you dislike mechanical drives :ugly: The price drop of SSDs is great news. But to this day, mechanical ones still give me more confidence in terms of long-term reliability. And note that I am migrating my PCs to SSDs (except for the data). -
Great. I have one with 256 Gigas and I have more than enough, but I understand that some people demand larger disks and if the price decreases little by little, then over time, mechanical disks will become a thing of the past, at least in my case.

When SSDs are priced equally to mechanical ones, I will buy them like candies
(and I already have two and have ordered a third for the patriarch :troll: ).Let the discount not stop!
Greetings
