Gtx 1070 evga superclocked + i5 4690
-
hello everyone, a question right now I have the money to buy the gtx 1070, my case is small so that's why I saw the evga superclocked model.
I don't know what you think is it a good custom? Do you recommend it?
msi and zotak are bigger than the evga.I also have the dilemma of whether to save the money and wait a while.. reading around I saw that volta was brought forward to may 2017 and that pascal could quickly stop having support that is something like what was said recently for the 900 series.(A year of waiting is a lot, I don't know if I can handle the anxiety hehe)
On the other hand Amd with vega could bring out a 490 or 490x but vega and especially volta are still a few good months away from being released. and at least I want a vga that will last me about 2 years that keeps performing for that time for 1080p..In my pc I have an i5 4690 (not k) I don't know if it will cause some bottleneck to the 1070.
8 of ram 1600 hyper x.
mother H97M-D3H…
r9 270x sapphire oc..(it's about 22 centimeters long or more approx..)
it's not a mother for oc nor the best gamer components I have and as you can see I can't do oc and I don't want to do it either, I just want to play fluidly at 1080p I don't have any interest in going beyond full hd for a good time.
I look forward to your opinions thanks in advance... -
Good evening, first from the 1060 onwards you have more than enough for fullHD and in AMD idem from the 460 or better the 470 onwards. Without OC you have a good team. And you won't have any bottlenecks for now. You could even check if your equipment supports faster RAM and put it in. With that you would gain a lot. Right now the equipment that does have bottlenecks are the AMDs like mine and in my case I have already solved it. And if you have a small case, look for a 460 or something that doesn't have extra power supply. This way you save yourself having to change the case and so on. Almost all the latest mid-range and high-end are huge.
