Start Win XP without start menu

En C tenía el W98 SE, en D el Windows XP Pro y al arrancar me salía el menú inicio para seleccionarlos.
Se ha formateado C y el menú ha desaparecido, ¿cómo arranco el Win XP?.
Aparte de los programas que me controlan el "booteo" hay algo más que puede hacer?
