I've updated the post a bit because I think adding UMU is quite important to leave as is. I want to try to make the guide as up to date as possible. Also, if someone decides to try some tips from the guide and has problems, it would be cool if they put their experience so I can improve it and try to make it as complete as possible.
Edited: For a few months now, Heroic Games Launcher has added a series of experimental features in which UMU stands out, a unified launcher for Windows games on Linux. It's basically a copy of Steam Runtime Tools and Steam Linux Runtime that Valve uses for Proton, with some modifications so that it can be used outside of Steam. Well, this feature now, the people at Heroic have it pretty polished and it works very well. This means that you don't have to fight sometimes with Winetricks to have to install dll's, fonts or specific drivers for each game.
Nothing, people, a hug.
You didn't post this news because it seemed a bit redundant with the other one, but seeing it in detail, I see that they are rather complementary Let's play!!! (those who have time) Greetings gamers
