Pues quiero poner un pequeño servidor FTP en casa, bajo windows XP y cuando configure linux, ya lo pondre seriamente bajo linux, pero de momento bajo XP y keria saber cual me recomendais?

Si me referia al sotfware. Ya he puesto el Serv-U y de puta madre.
Ya lo probe hace tiempo, pero no me funcionaba, cuando me pedia la IP del servidor, le ponia la IP fija al tener ADSL y no funcionaba. Asi ke lo deje abandonado. Y ayer al volverlo a instalar, pense que pa ke coño necesitaba la ip fija, si no necesitaria la IP privada de mi red, ya que tengo 3 ordenadores en red al router, asi ke puse la IP privada y todo funciono a las mil maravillas.
En todos los manuales que hay del serv-U te dicen que pongas la IP publica, lo que no dicen es que solo en el caso de que estes en monopuesto, ya que el multipuerto, tienes que meter la ip privada del ordenador en la red, y abrir los puertos necesarios.
