"Underclock" the laptop with Win XP

Acabo de instalar Windows XP Pro SP1 en un portátil y me ha pasado algo un poco curioso.
El portátil lleva un procesador Mobile Celeron a 366Mhz y al mirar las propiedades del equipo me he dado cuenta de que aparecia a la mitad de velocidad (185Mhz)
Supongo que el "underclock" lo realiza el propio XP al aplicar alguna tecnología de ahorro de energía o algo así….
¿A alguien le ha pasado algo parecido?
De momento lo he solucionado entrando en la BIOS y tocando el único parámetro que parecía referirse al rendimiento del ordenador "Battery Safe Mode=Full Power"

Te escribo con un XP Mobile 1800+ que según XP está rulando a 793 MHZ, a si que no te preocupes, ahorro de energía, otra cosa es como se le puede hacer funcionar a tope, pero desde mi punto de vista, a no ser que este el portatil a full todo el rato no tiene sentido.
