Where to put the thermometer sensor?

Os parecerá una tontería, pero no sé la posición exacta donde tiene que ponerse el sensor de un termómetro (Lian-Li, el que va en bahía).
Deduzco que no ha de ponerse en el core (quitaría superficie de refrigeración). Y por lo tanto no sé donde engancharlo: base del disipador u otra parte del micro.
Ruego a los que ya tengan experiencia en esto me den algunas pautas y consejos a seguir.
