5.1 sound on msi kt333

pues me sigo resistiendo a poner mi vieja live , no me creo que una placa asi tenga una mierda de sonido como la que tiene.
Mirando el manual encontre esto:

"If you dont want to connect to the front audio header, pins 5-6 & 9-10 have to be jumpered in order to have signal output directed to the rear audio ports. Otherwise the line-out connector on the back panner will not function"

O sea que tengo que quitar los jumpers para usar el sonido 5.1 no?
