Yo te driría que sí , pero te va a ir a la mitad de su rendimiento, ya que yo tengo un disco duro externo usb 2.0 y mi placa es una usb 1.0 , al transferir datos va más lenta, pero funcionar funciona.

Supongo que os referis a USB 1.1 y no a 1.0…
Juzga tú mismo:
USB 2.0 = 480Mbit/s
USB 1.1 = 12Mbit/sEstá claro que la cámara no podrá aprovechar completamente los 480Mb, pero seguro que deja en pañales al lento usb 1.1.
Piénsate lo de comprarte la tarjeta PCI interna con USB 2.0 como comenta Toyball, dudo que te arrepientas
