Problema 1:
Resulta que tengo un amigo xD con MSI K8T Neo-2FIR (939) i le monté una placa tipica de ram: 512 cl3 kingston PC3200 (de momento :rolleyes: ) i resulta que en windows, en sistema del panel de control, solo me reconoze 256 de ram. Que le puede passar? Por el manual esta bien. Puede ser BIOS problem? Algo sobre el doble-canal?
Problema 2:
No es preocupante, pero el PC sufre paros de 3-5 segundos sin motivo aparente, cuando le apeteze.
Aunque pregunte, pretendo hacerle un test general, pero sabeis que podria ser de antemano? Puede ser devido a que no he actualizado la BIOS? Segun me dicen da mal la temperatura de CPU con la default…

Mira en la BIOS los timmings que pone por dfecto a la memoria, tal vez sean demasiado agresivos. Pero yo que tú probaría con otro módulo de memoria, tiene toda la pinta de estar defectuoso.

En el manual pone que la he connectado a un DIMM con la letra D i no en una S. Puede que la haya connectado en un DIMM de DDR2??? o es el cuento de la doble cara (q|p) ? ( Mañana por la noche que lo vay a ver le canviaré a ver que tal
