· TFT
· CRTY dentro de los CRT están los que tienen pantalla plana, y los que no. Si quieres profundizar más, en este link te explican tecnicamente las diferencias entre unos y otros.

Los TFT son los finitos que están tan de moda ahora. Y los CRT los grandotes de toda la vida.
Cada uno tiene sus ventajas e inconvenientes:
TFT:- Es más pequeño
- Es más estético
- Cansa menos la vista
CRT:
- Es más barato
- Tiene mejor calidad de imagen
- Representa más fielmente los colores
Así a groso modo, y digamos comparando monitores de misma gama (baja, media, alta, etc….)
