Estoy esperando una Lian Li V1000 (la que tiene la placa madre montada al reves) . Se me ha ocurrido buscar por Internet si existe algún tipo de incompatibilidad con mi A8N-SLI Premium (la que tiene el chipset refrigerado por un heat-pipe) y mi sorpresa ha sido comprobar que esta placa no se puede montar al revés porqué la refrigeración deja de funcionar.

Es normal, piensa que la tecnología heat-pipe funciona en parte por convección, por lo que funciona mucho mejor cuando la parte más fría está arriba. Puede funcionar en horizontal, pero pedirle que funcione boca-abajo es pedirle demasiado.
Solución, suelta el heat-pipe y métele un Zalman pasivo, es suficiente para ese chipset. Y sino, un Thermalright NB-1
