DOS boot with sata

Hace unos meses le hice a un compañero una imagen de su disco con ghost desde windows ya instalado sin problemas , el disco es un serial ata ,ahora no puedo iniciar windows y si intento volcar la imagen desde dos no me reconoce el disco duro.
Alguien sabe si es posible crear un cd de aranque con los controladores sata (los tengo en disquette) que me reconozca el disco para poder volcar la imagen desde dos, o alguna otra solucion para recuperar la imagen.
