Sabéis si es mucha la pérdida de rendimiento si se instala un juego en un disco diferente al disco donde está el sistema operativo?

Yo tengo el hitachi como disco del S.O. y aparte tengo instalados unos 30 juegos en el Maxtor y no he notado ninguna pérdida de rendimiento

Y porque tiene que haber perdida de rendimiento???
Si los dos discos son de similares caracteristicas el rendimiento será el mismo, incluso en algunos casos será superior pues si tienes poca RAM, la carga del juego y demas (texturas, etc…) estara en un disco diferente al que contiene el archivo de paginacion de windows y los accesos serán mucho mas rapidos.
