We agree on that, the ideal would be a monitor like the NEC we mentioned, but with a minimum resolution of 2560 x 1080 like the one you mentioned, which the LGs have, or the new DELL Panoramas, but I know people who have had that Dell for example and it lasted them hours… I'm used to a 27.
The image is much more "narrow", in a 21:9 than in a 16:9. And consequently it seems like you're missing a monitor.

I've played on many monitors from the first 15" CRTs, to 50" TVs, and I still prefer surround, until I try something like the 43" Nec. But at those prices…..........Uf!!
You've already mentioned the disadvantages of surround, 3 power outlets, 3 connections and graphics to move that. The thing about the edges of the monitors I was reluctant to it at first, but once you try them, when you play, you don't even realize they're there.
When you play you always look forward, yes, but the side monitors are for peripheral vision. It's like when you're walking, you don't have to turn your head to know what's happening on your sides. With surround it's the same. As long as you put them at a certain degree with respect to the other, if you turn them too much, you lose that view, and totally flat, it doesn't give you as much immersion. I have mine at about 25,30º, and they help a lot in having more field of vision to detect an enemy earlier, see more of the map, etc...
Anyway, everyone has their preferences...
Best regards..

Of course these 21:9 are like a 27" flattened, perhaps changing from one to another doesn't appeal to you, but to me changing from a 22" in the future does seem interesting especially because it's a resolution that isn't hard to move and it's a good size. Although the NEC's aspect ratio was better, it was like two screens joined which is something you can't do today because you're left with the border in the middle.
Now that the games look great...

In that video it looks perfect, yes. And I'd venture to say that the ones on top are my old U2312HM.
In that case the change to a 29" you would notice it, as long as you're increasing inches the change is more significant.
In my case changing that surround of the image for a 29" panoramic, would be losing field of vision…
Best regards..

new box,….we don't stop moving things from time to time, although in my case, it's for reasons of space and necessity, change of place of the toy, and the Obsidian 800D was getting too big,..so there has been a change in performance, and quality, obviously, but I don't dislike this new travel companion, for now

and first update with soaking

we will continue to square the loop, there are some things that I haven't liked as they are left

Aesthetically I don't like the hafs, but the assembly and distribution is very cool.

Taking advantage of the fact that I was changing the front fans, I tried the Smartphone camera in a cheap way with flash :ugly:
Update from a few months ago: Silver Arrow.

My little mini-server, now also HTPC, after moving from VIA C7 to Atom D2550.
Features:
- Asrock AD2550-ITX motherboard with Atom D2500 at 1.8Ghz.
- 1 module 2GB DDR3-1066 So-Dimm Kingston brand. I have a free slot to add another.
- Antec ISK-100 case.
- 2 2.5" hard drives, one 80Gb for the system and programs, and another 250Gb for videos.
Photos:

So far, the old thing is not doing badly. Without making any strange configurations, it accelerates and plays HD video hardware in XBMC and its consumption is about 19w at idle and about 21w playing HD.

I like that antec, which by the way hasn't done anything lately, or I haven't seen anything new, we've only seen the p280.
-
In small and budget cases if you have little things, but in higher ranges not much. I loved the Mini P180, it was my platonic love until I got the opportunity of the Silverstone SG05.
-
The mini p180 is a case that I have also liked a lot, for a m atx gamer rig it looks great, I have been able to tinker with 2 and they are a delight.

We updated the GPU [Gigabyte GTX 760 OC], I still have to double the RAM and then start racking up the miles.

Joer Obione, the Antec 300 looks tight, huh? It seems like you had to squeeze the 760 in with a shoehorn :ugly:
-
With a shoehorn? To me it seems like he had to put some vaseline on it and force it in. (Now I read it and it sounds weird, but that's what it seems like.)
Luckily, there is no "association for a decent case", because both the graphics card and the heatsink would sue you. :risitas: -

Luckily, there's no "association for a decent case", because both the graphics card and the heatsink would sue you for everything. :risitas:It seems to be the perspective, because the Antec 300 is a normal case in reality, but between the Silver Arrow being a pretty wide beast and the 760 being longer than the ads on Antena 3, well... it seems smaller :ugly:
-
It all fits just right, yes, but it goes in :ugly:
To put it straight, petroleum jelly and some pressure might be necessary. I put it in first between the bays, diagonally xD

You are a daredevil, like me with my Caviar Green as my main :ugly: :ugly: :ugly: :ugly: :ugly: :ugly:
