hello, I'm new here, I would like to start my journey through this forum by raising this topic that I find curious, I have a 3.5" and 750 gb hdd brand seagate st3750330as the thing is that if I connect it via usb adapter to any of my pc it is not recognized, it does not appear in the disk manager... so nothing can be done, if I connect it directly to the motherboard, the system does not start, in fact they stop being reflected even in the bios any device like the main hdd and the ide readers.
the hdd does not make any strange noise, in fact it starts its movement like any other hdd, I wanted to recover the information but as I said there is no way for my pc to detect it.
I thought it would be the electronic board it carries, I extracted it and I had the idea to connect it to the usb adapter, and bingo, it recognizes the board but does not assign a letter....
what can I do?
would it be a firmware issue? this would be the sd45
well, thanks for your collaboration
goodbye
