What requirements must be met to make an SLI? Does it have to be exactly the same model? Does it have to be the same brand by force?

My budget is 320€, I was thinking of buying only one for now, and the two I've seen that are most interesting are the GTX570 (with physics) and the 6970 (with 2GB), if there is a better one for that price tell me...

If I use one of these two, for example, my question is: Could I with a Corsair AX850W hold an SLI of some of these two graphics?

      Thanks Hardlimit! ;D

man, I don't think it's necessary to ask the same thing in two branches, but maybe Bm4n would be happy to answer the same thing in two places :D:D:D

With that budget you can get 2 of the "emblasador" Sapphire 6870.

Just don't multiply branches since in the end you don't know where to answer, answering your question, I have a gtx570 and personally testing both ATI and nvidia and those two models I prefer a nvidia SLI, it doesn't matter the assembler, although it takes the ones that in specifications are more equal, even if one is not OC and the other is, there are usually some problems, the power supply can handle it and it is of very good quality the one you have, some gtx570s give peaks of about 300w more or less and under load about 270-280 so it depends then on what components you put in it, it will work perfectly or not.

              Perfect! ;D
And regarding assemblers, in order of preference, which ones are better?
Zotac, Evga, Msi, Asus or gigabyte. I was previously interested in the Msi gtx570 twin forc III, but being "Msi" and not knowing the brand made me doubt..!
Sorry about the branches, as the only doubt I had left was the "graphics" so I did what I said here wanting with the best intention!: giggles:

              Best regards!!!

The SLI/Crossfire thing means that they have the same chip, that is, that both are gtx570 or HD6950 for example and, as Tecnho says, that they have the same frequencies because otherwise one would "work" more than the other, although the graphics are not OC version some work at a higher frequency so you have to look at the specifications of each graphic.
I for example had to lower the frequency of the Asus so that it worked at the same frequencies as the His because otherwise the crossfire was unstable.

Regarding assemblers, perhaps the one I like the least is Zotac, the rest are good and depend on the price of the component and the cooling system, each of them has several versions of the same product, it is a matter of comparing.
                Regards

As for assemblers, I quite like EVGA, MSI and gigabyte in that order because of my experiences with them.
