check the security levels of my wifi network rather because I've had problems with the neighbors :S
-
sinceramente. like a cable there is nothing

if you have a single neighbor with certain knowledge (or tutorials) and time, using programs like backtrack (I think they are up to 5) or aircrack will catch you
personally I am against wifi connections (I don't think it's very healthy to have fifty networks around you)
P.D I don't think you need an antenna for the laptop (which I assume is old) so if you change the keys I think you will have enough, and if the problem persists (if it's a hassle) change them every week and you'll see how they get tired :D:D -
If you don't want your wifi to be stolen, why not try MAC filtering along with WPA2 encryption? It's the most secure thing you can have after the cable.

With that and if you add: hide the network, limit the signal range, disable DHCP, an uncommon router route and a monthly or quarterly password change... it's impossible for your wifi to be stolen

The best option, if available, is to reduce the mW output of the router. They can't attack what they can't see.
Trying to make the signal directional and point it where you want is another option, if the neighborhood is not too close. -
any of those solutions could work, in any case I bought a little antenna like this for my pc since I didn't have phone jacks nearby and it's a very good antenna, it provides a very stable connection and works really well

I don't understand certain things :nono::nono: if you didn't have an antenna how did you connect?

-
well why I connected with a laptop and the antenna I bought for a desktop

-
-
sharp?
I only come to one conclusion, a scarce and ill-begotten statement something like:
hello I have a modem X and a laptop X1 and I bought a desktop brand X2 I want to connect it by wifi and they recommend this antenna Connection N&C - Wireless Range what do you think? besides I would like to know how to improve the security of my network (because my neighbors are very thrifty) -
There seems to be a misunderstanding. -
it could well be. :D:D but I have no intention of getting annoyed with anyone
-
vaya telaaaa xDDDDD
