I don't understand
-
I don't know why but a post I made here has been deleted, it wasn't against any rules or anything like that, I was just asking for information and an invitation (I've seen that there are quite a few more posts asking for the same thing and they haven't been deleted).
It would be good if at least you could send me a private message or something to explain the reason, so that at least I don't make the same mistake in future posts.
Thanks. Regards.

well I don't know...
option A for a message I put in which I indicated a page of second-hand articles with what you wanted, more or less 260 280 295 (I would have to re-read the rules in case I have broken something)
option B that you have done something and that's why
option C the moderator made a mistake
send a PM to a moderator and say something -
I have not done anything, that is why it seems strange to me that they have deleted the post, first I searched and saw that there were similar posts from people asking for invitations, so I understood that it was not against the forum rules.
I do not think it is because of your link, in many posts links to other pages and so on are put, I do not think it is that.
We will wait to see.
Thank you for the answer! Goodbye!

hello I have sent you a PM look at it in case you see something interesting ( there is something interesting there )

The answer is very easy: this is Hardlimit, not "I want an invitation to…", that's how easy it is.
Although my answer may sound harsh to you, please don't take it personally.I could also complain about your signature, or edit it directly without saying anything, which is what I usually do. This is reflected in the rules very clearly (edit it yourself or I will delete it)
Just as there are very clear rules regarding some things, there are other unwritten rules that we also try to enforce so that the forum is dedicated and focused on what it is, a discussion and help forum on various computer science topics.

man, I'm not saying you're wrong (you are and that's indisputable) but in others (and I think in many) they have acted with more right hand (warnings from the forum members and others) I think it's the first time I see, for this forum something so "decisive"
and you elsaq read the forum rules and edit your signature (you've been given a warning);)P.D I almost forgot (well okay, I forgot and had to edit) Mystique could you delete the whole branch, because I don't think it serves any purpose (the rules are in place)

Thanks for the clarification
edited signature. As you rightly say, in this forum you have some unwritten rules, and as you will understand, I haven't been here long and I don't know those rules, in the rules that are written there wasn't anything about the issue of which I made the post, that's why I apologize, as I said, I used the search engine and when I saw posts about the same thing, I didn't think it was something forbidden.
As you can also see in other posts of mine, I comply with the rules to the letter, in fact, I try to make sure that everything I write is well written and without spelling mistakes, which we know that almost no one does ;D and I always respect my colleagues and everything that is talked about.
The only thing that bothered me about all this was the fact that my post was deleted like that, without telling me why, mainly because if I don't know the reason I can't learn it to avoid future mistakes, nothing more, I like to have things explained to me so I can learn, not to argue, I hope you understand that

Well, as I have already said, thanks for the clarification, we all understand each other when we talk and I hope to stay here for a long time
;DBest regards!

elsaq I think the problem was because you didn't ask " please " or something similar, but, I think I remember you saying something like " I need " I want " an invitation for X. That has many readings, yes, but, if a moderator thinks it's not consistent then I can't say anything :mudo: I suppose everyone has their days :D:D anyway and maybe I'm getting myself into a bit of trouble, in this forum they don't usually take such drastic measures, but if they do it's for something and I won't be the one to argue about it. or maybe yes …. :D:D:D:D P.D I still think that if a moderator comes by, they could delete the whole branch that's not worth anything (the rules are in their place and are mandatory reading and compliance (or as someone said, ignorance of the rules does not exempt from their compliance))

It can also be left for people to learn from, moved to the general forum or the off-topic one. Or deleted if any moderator/admin sees it as convenient, necessary and/or timely.@elsaq I'm glad you took it well and I'll keep that last reflection of yours: Hablando se entiende la gente

I hope you stay around for a long time and that this can serve as an example to more users (although it's not the first time it happens).Regards
