Core 2 duo e6300 compatible intel motherboard

can someone clear up my doubts
about the spec number of intel processors
I have this motherboard

and I'm waiting for this processor:
SLA5E (Intel Core 2 Duo E6300)
but on the intel website it only talks about the spec numbers: SL9TA and SL9SA that are compatible
it seems that the SLA5E is used by some HP motherboards and intel doesn't give me any information about it
how can I know if it's totally compatible?

I don't know much about the difference between those numbering systems, but you shouldn't have any problems.

if a motherboard is compatible with a core2duo e6300 i assure you that it is compatible with all the others e6300. the numbering is usually used to differentiate the origin of the processor, but internally there are no differences.
in summary, it should work.

E6300 / 1.86 GHz / 2 MB / 65 nm / 1066 MHz as the E6300 / 1066 / 2MB / 45 nm / 2.800 MHz
which is the one i have and the one that can be bought now
and your motherboard doesn't support the new ones

are you sure? as far as I know the one they sell now is an intel pentium dual core, not an intel core2duo
