Bought Asus M4A88T-V EVO, what do I put it in?

Hello everyone. I've bought an Asus M4A88T-V EVO and now I would like you to recommend a processor. I am very new to names and nomenclature like this so I would appreciate it if you could be explicit in your suggestions, thank you.
The use I will give it is to access the internet, office work, p2p downloads, watch some movies, play some games, do some tinkering with video editing and photo retouching, and for programming.

do you only have the motherboard? and how much money can you spend?

The 900s have 4 cores and the 1000s have 6, which will be good for video. Within the ranges, the higher the number, the faster the processor, but when you see the price starting to skyrocket, stand firm, as there is not much difference within each range.
