You must be careful with the Ram modules, if they have the high heatsink, this will touch you with the bottom part of the heatsink.
Apart from that, common fault of most of them, it's a good heatsink.

        Best regards.

I have the same modules as you, but 2 x 4gb, I will look at it to see how I do it... what a dilemma :S

If they are like mine, they are low profile heatsinks and you will not have problems with the Mugen.
The problem is when the memory heatsink is high, like the Dominator, some Patriot etc.
            Best regards.

We are going to Conventional Refrigeration, which was not doing anything in Peripherals :nono:

Sorry, signature corrected. I couldn't find the appropriate topic, I'll look more next time, how do I change the site? although they have already resolved my doubt, I was looking to put the solved flag that I have seen in other posts

I have a problem, one of the feet is a bit bald:

OK, I'm sorry for expressing myself like this, but I don't know how to call it technically, the hook it comes with has the same effect as a screw and a plastic dowel, you fit it into the hole and when you push the plastic envelope, the white part you have fitted expands, preventing it from being able to go back once it's hooked (I think it's like the Intel ones in the series) and the one I'm referring to is a metal X that goes behind the plate that has a thread at each end of the X, on the other side where the heatsink is, there are 4 screws that will screw into each end of the X located behind the plate, when tightened it presses against the micro and its support.

The scythe mugen I think uses the intel one (if I'm right with the description) and one of the white feet has had a small projection that fixes it worn away, so it gives me some play that scares me...

and here's my question, is there a remedy? or have I lost a possible quality heatsink...

I hope I've made myself understood and forgive my lack of expression...

Let's see, if I understand correctly, one of the heatsink mounting clips on the board has deteriorated, losing one of the edges that block the clip against the board, right?
If the clip is not very deteriorated in general (only 1/4 of the blades damaged) there should not be any problem, it's another thing if the entire clip is broken (4/4 blades broken) then the heatsink would be anchored to the board with only 3 clips and would not be properly secured.
If the clip has broken completely I think you can ask the manufacturer for a new bracket, I don't think it will cost much, but if it's not broken at all and it's just a small tab there should not be any problem.
I hope I have understood you correctly and at the same time have explained myself well.

                      Best regards!

Yes, perfect that was it! thank you very much for the effort. I had my doubts even though it is a very small part I don't have much experience with heat sinks.. so I preferred to check it out.

Don't worry, it's better to ask when in doubt ?
That said, now that you know that one of the bumpers is "at 75%" as they say, try to pamper it when handling it, cleaning it (when it's time) and so on, in short, nothing that moves away from common sense :sisi:

                          Best regards!

Anyway, and since the heatsink is not exactly a small one, try, if possible, that the anchor is on the bottom, so that when the case is standing up the weight of the heatsink itself helps to tighten it. If you put it on top, the weight pulls more on it. And as it is "touched", you must be careful with sudden movements, pressures or small bumps when handling the inside of the case.

And as an image is worth a thousand words …. Are the anchors on the left? ;D

                            Best regards

Yes, they are the ones on the left, half of one, but I will take into account what you said about the weight. It's a good technique, otherwise I was thinking of resorting to the usual clamps, but well, when the plate arrives (I order it tonight) I will wait to see the patches ?
