Hello,
for lovers of science fiction and admirers of Asimov, I leave you this link that I found with a list of 70 free books by this author, including the Foundation saga and many more.
At the end of the list of the link I leave you have the link to download them from Rapidshare. I just downloaded them without any problems.
Greetings!

In what format?
I downloaded them out of interest and they are in.doc format, it will take me a while to convert all of them to epub, but okay.
Thanks kalevala.

downloading, thank you!!!

De nada Tecnho,
how do you convert them to epub? any specific program?
Thanks!

A few weeks ago I finished Foundation and I really liked it.
No problem Tecnho,
how do you convert them to epub? any specific program?
Thanks!
As far as I know with Calibre you can convert them easily. At least it's the one I use to convert them to Kindle format.

Exactly, as cobito tells you, with calibre, but first convert them to PDF with Word and then from PDF to Epub, that's why I said it would take time but it's pretty straightforward.

The truth is that Calibre, for keeping a collection of electronic books reasonably organized, is the best I know of. Highly recommended.

And on top of that it's free and supports a lot of devices and it also comes in Spanish.
By the way, cobito, how's the kindle? I want to get one, does it support epub? or does it have its own format. -

By the way, cobito, how's the kindle, I'm eager to get my hands on one, does it support epub? or does it have its own format. The kindle is doing pretty well for now, although it has developed two small cracks in the lower corners of the screen (in the frame). Apparently it's a common defect and they will replace it, but they are hardly noticeable and it's not worth it to me to make the change.
It uses a specific format and doesn't support epub. With the PDF it shows the page in a natural format. If it's an A4, it adapts the size to the screen and the letters are unreadable. But anyway, with calibre it converts without any problems.
I downloaded a collection of 8000 books in Spanish in Kindle format, so for now I don't convert too many.
Despite the small cracks in the frame, I think it's pretty good and also at a very reasonable price.

Can I use Calibre to convert PDFs or ePubs to Kindle format? I'm going to the USA for a month on Thursday and I was thinking about getting one

I can confirm that you can convert PDFs to Kindle format. I haven't tried converting epubs to Kindle format, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
By the way, Kindle is now also sold in Spain on the Amazon Spain website.

Yes that's what I meant, it's that for 99€ it has been since December so it's not a bad price.
