Does anyone know the difference between DDR3 1333Mhz Ram memory at 1.35v and at 1.5v, I want to expand the memory of my laptop and I can't find anything about the voltage it uses. I've tried asking Google and I've even put in Everest, but it doesn't give me the voltage values of the ram.

        Hello

Since you're going to expand it, open the laptop and take out the modules, there will be some kind of sticker or indicator on them with that information. And if not, you can always run CPU-Z and look in the RAM section, if it doesn't appear, note the identification number of the memory, put it in google and surely it should appear a data sheet somewhere.

DDR3s are made to work by standard at 1.5v.

The ones at 1.35v are used to assemble PCs with reduced consumption, but adjustments have to be made from the BIOS and that's why they are more prone to problems. If you have been using 1.35v, keep them, but if you had 1.5v ones, I don't recommend going down to 1.35v.

And then there are the 1.65v ones that consume more than standard.

            Bukowsky how long! ?

In case of doubt, 1.5V is the standard, although obviously the 1.35V ones will work for you, but the opposite could be a problem.
