After two years of waiting and the news of its cancellation for PC, we finally have Alan Wake on our devices. As on other occasions, the wait has been worth it, at least, to incorporate certain improvements over the XBOX version, from the graphics to the inclusion of two additional missions (paid on 360) as well as two great deluxe and collector's editions with various marketing additions.
Let's hope it's worth all the things that have been said about it. For now, I already have it in a Game bag here next to me...

After the Max Payne, which I loved, I was really looking forward to seeing Remedy's new game. I'm not sure if the wait was worth it, so let's see if you can tell us how you see it. The game looks great, but after watching many trailers and reviews, I'm worried that the story might be a bit disappointing.
I was thinking about getting it on Steam, which is where I buy everything lately, but I play it on Win 7 with my MacBook Pro that has a GeForce 9400M 256 MB, do you think the game will run decently there?
Best regards!
edit: I see that the minimum GPU requirements are 512mb, for now I'll have to do without trying it
I hope Diablo III works; D) -
When it came out on Steam they had it on sale and in a few weeks they covered the cost of producing the game. Now I think it's no longer on sale. I think it will fall into my hands someday ¬¬ because it looks good.
-
It doesn't look bad, the price doesn't fully convince me, but I'll have to try it sooner or later.
The bad thing is that I have the list of pending things messed up and increasing
but well, someday there will be a resolution for all the stories
Thanks for the contribution in any case lforosBest regards!

A bit boring according to a colleague who played it on XBOX.
-
Well, after a few hours of playing I can tell you that, as a positive:- It gives a certain anxiety that I haven't felt since the first FEAR
- The story is interesting and well told
- I expected more graphic quality. The characters sometimes seem to have as many joints as the Playmobil toys.
- The control is very improvable. It becomes difficult to handle and hit the target, at least with keyboard and mouse.
- It may indeed become somewhat boring because the story is good, but the development of the game (so far) is too iterative.
-
That seemed to me, a dose of history and curious light/shadow FX, and a lot of hype. On XBOX the gameplay didn't seem optimal but not something to complain about either. -
I guess it was given so much hype because it was the first thing Remedy did after the success of the two MaxPayne… anyway as soon as I can I'll get my teeth into AlanWake to see what it's like
I'm waiting for MaxPayne 3 with eagerness, which looks great, although I have high expectations and hope that the "noir" spirit of the saga has not been completely lost
Regards!

Don't get me wrong. I think it's a good game because what hooks me the most in general are the stories, but technically (apart from the light and shadow games and some spectacular effects) it disappoints me a little.
I'm also looking forward to Max Payne 3. What I also hope is that the change from Remedy to Rockstar doesn't make the spirit of the series be lost... the truth is that I'm not a big fan of Rockstar...
